Feelings no. 2

I thought I'd start by saying that

feelings come in layers.

They could mean nothing if your intention 

is to fool yourself 

or others. Depending. 

There are feelings inside feelings,

harboring people. 

And people inside people, concealing, 

sheltering, possibly nurturing - feelings. 

An emotional state or reaction,

as irrational as myself undone. 

In layers, an exercise in existence.
